Biography

Tom was awarded a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from DIT before spending several years working in the semi-conductor manufacturing equipment industry. He was subsequently awarded an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems from DkIT, winning the HETAC Student of the Year Award for DkIT in 2010. He was a PhD student in the area of hydrodynamic and thermodynamic computer modelling. His interests include ocean energy, all forms of renewable energy and computer modelling.
