Biography

 

Alexis started a PhD at COER in January 2015. He is working on wave energy forecasting, as well as modelling and control.
He obtained his engineering degree in 2012 at ENSTA in Paris where he had specialised in Energy management and economics. He then studied Public administration for two years at Sciences Po Paris while keeping a focus on energy by doing a one-year apprenticeship at the Optimisation Division of EDF, the main French power producer.

He did a short research internship at COER in 2011 where he worked on the nonlinear modelling of a wave-energy converter. He also carried out research activities as an intern for almost a year in 2012-2013 at GDF SUEZ, in the Center of Expertise for Economic Modelling and Studies where he worked on the joint optimisation of gas- and power-assets management.
