CC Ireland Chapter

 

Welcome to the home page of the Control and Communication (Ireland) (CC Ireland) joint chapter of the UKRI Section of the IEEE. The chapter was officially formed on the 15th December 2003 following a petition from IEEE members in Ireland.

This site will be used to advertise events sponsored or organised by the chapter. Suggestions for additional website material welcome.

Background:

The IEEE is divided into Regions, most of which are in the USA. Region 8 covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Within IEEE Regions, there are Sections. The United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (UKRI) Section is part of Region 8. In any Section, Chapters may be formed which are related to the IEEE parent Society (e.g. Communications Society, Computer Society etc.). The CC Ireland chapter was formed to promote control and communications events in Ireland.
